„UHPC“ (Ultra High Performance Concrete) took place in the crypt of a catholic church. The title adverted to the raw concrete walls of the 1960s modernist style building. The event consisted of readings of several text formats such as the japanese poem Haiku by the authors Jonathan Lahr and Henrik Hillenbrand as well as three installations by Leonie Hosoda.
The works reflected the crypt as a place of secrecy and depth in opposition to the tangible and elusive e.g. of the haiku. The fabrics covered two religious pictures and the altar. The textiles created a play of revealing the sacral symbols as mere surfaces and at the same time transforming them into objects of speculation in concealing their shapes.
